Thailand’s first seaplane airline to launch
Thailand’s first ever dedicated seaplane airline is preparing to launch this summer.
Siam Seaplane hopes to secure over 40 landing spots across Thailand.
It says it has partnered with 60 resorts including Intercontinental and Four Seasons to transfer guests.
Seaplane travel is a luxury segment that is missing in Thailand, Siam Seaplane says.
Initially, the seaplane airline would provide scenic air tours and ground-to-ground charter flights.
Siam Seaplane has taken delivery of its first aircraft, a Cessna Grand Caravan.
It is targeting a fleet of 15 aircraft within five years.
