That’s the Spirit!

Big, red, fluffy suit, and boots to boot, Castaway’s traditional looking Santa stepped off his ‘floating sleigh’ onto the shores of Castaway Island on Christmas Day to be greeted by over forty excited children, their parents, plus other guests. When compared to the barefoot Christmas celebrators on the beach who were wearing cool, island attire, this was definitely the hottest looking Santa on Earth!

With a warrior Elf by his side, Castaway’s temperature-challenged Santa was still able to make some rather cool dancing moves toward the Christmas tree where the children on Castaway were given gifts. The jolly singing and dancing continued until Santa departed on his ‘sleigh’ to greet the first boat arrivals from the mainland and from there he visited the kids at the staff village.

On Christmas Day, guests woke to the angelic sounds of the Castaway Family Choir and after Santa’s visit a sumptuous Christmas Buffet was prepared for all guests to enjoy.

Christmas night saw the return of the Choir who sang carols while guests enjoyed dinner under the natural fairy-light sky.

Many families enjoyed Christmas the Castaway way this year, including the Simpson family, (right) who stayed a total of seven nights on Castaway, who said, “This was our once in a lifetime Christmas Holiday and we had high expectations………Castaway proved to be a beautiful destination with excellent facilities and superior food”.

To keep things hot over the festive period, the Resort is offering their “Hottest Holiday Deal” which ‘burns’ F$1000.00 off the bill for those guests choosing to stay longer than six nights. Special conditions apply.
