The FINCH set to open in Walla Walla, WA this month
A historic 1960s motel site in Walla Walla, Washington is gearing up for reopening with a bold new update.
Newly renovated hotel The FINCH, featuring 80 rooms, is opening on October 26 and will blend original design features with a modern reboot.
It has added multiple gathering spaces to encourage guests to take in the area’s natural beauty and sample a glass of local Walla Walla wine.
It aims to become a vibrant hub for travel across the local area with a custom-designed Map Room, as well as complimentary Field Guide travel journals upon check-in, to encourage guests to explore the region.
Each guestroom will feature custom wall installations which have been created by local artists and have been inspired by Walla Walla’s food, wine and outdoor heritage.
"The FINCH will serve as the perfect base camp for our guests. This hotel reflects the beauty and innovation of the region, offering a modern, comfortable and creative space," said hotel GM, Matt Skaletsky.
As well as its wineries, Walla Walla is also noted as the cycling capital of Washington and the hotel offers access to an on-site tune-up station and multiple storage options.
Two cruiser bikes are also available for guest use.
