The Netherlands drops Covid test entry requirement
The Netherlands has further relaxed Covid curbs allowing UK travellers to skip pre-departure tests.
It takes effect on Wednesday 23 March.
This is regardless of vaccination status.
It brings to an end almost all entry requirements.
At the same time masks are no longer required on most transport.
The Dutch government recommends everyone takes a self-test upon arrival in the Netherlands, and a second one five days after arriving.
Everyone is still required to complete a health declaration form.
The Dutch government’s updated rules have been confirmed on the Foreign Office travel advice website
“From 23 March all travellers from the UK to the Netherlands will not require a negative pre-departure test for travel to the Netherlands, regardless of their vaccination status,” it states.
