The Peak: A place to eat, drink and make merry
The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has launched a two-month promotional campaign “The Peak – A New Sensationâ€, which aims to offer visitors new experiences of The Peak.
The campaign highlights the various facets of The Peak, including the views, nature and scenic walks, heritage and culture, as well as entertainment.
In addition, more than 30 outlets at The Peak Tower, The Peak Galleria and The Peak Lookout Restaurant have extended a range of dining, shopping and entertainment offers to visitors.

New visitor center: The HKTB’s new full-service 29-square-metre Visitor Centre at the Peak is located in a converted 49-year-old all-metal tramcar in service from 1959 to 1989.
The vintage tram, which was donated to Hong Kong Museum of History, has been refurbished and is now ideally placed to better serve visitors at the Peak Piazza. To tie in with the opening of the new HKTB Visitor Centre, the Peak Tram Company is offering free Peak Tram ride for visitors born in 1959 and 1989 – the first and the last year of operation of the converted tramcar – through the end of April 2008. Opening hours are 9am – 9pm daily.
