They’re back, the Alternative Travel Awards fund-raiser

Wednesday, 12 Nov, 2014 0

Ever sat through a travel awards ceremony and wondered what people were really thinking? Well, book a table at this year’s Alternative Travel Awards and you’ll find out because host Nick Wrightman has a reputation for not holding back when it comes to poking fun at the good, the bad and the ugly of the industry.

Now in their 23rd year, the awards, to be held on December 18 at The Royal Garden Hotel in London’s Kensington, will raise money for Childline, the Family Holiday Association and ABTA Benevolent Fun.

So, if you want to witness the humiliation of some of the travel industry’s top executives (and who doesn’t?) email Viv at [email protected] or call 07808 179 398.

Tickets cost £185 plus VAT and include a 3-course meal with half a bottle of wine, pre-dinner drinks, a band and a bar till 4am or until the last person drops.

The dress code is Black Tie or Angels and Demons, whatever that means.
