Thomas Cook has sealed a €30 million deal to buy a major Turkish specialist in Germany.
The operator will take on Öger Tours which takes more than 400,000 passengers a year on holiday.
Thomas Cook says the company is trading strongly at present and there are plans to grow revenue and profit in this financial year.
The deal means that other companies owned by Öger’s founder Vural Öger will offer agency and accommodation services in Turkey worth more than €2 million as part of the package.
