Thomas Cook adds Marrakech flights and packages
Thomas Cook has launched Marrakech in Morocco as a winter-sun option, with flights starting from November.
A twice-weekly service will operate on Thomas Cook Airlines from Manchester to the destination, which is a three-and-a-half-hour flight away.
Flight-only prices start at £49.99 one-way, while Thomas Cook is also offering a range of packages to six hotels across the city including one own-brand hotel, the SENTIDO Kenzi Menara Palace.
Located opposite the beautiful Agdal Royal Gardens, and just a short drive from Jamaa el-Fna, the UNESCO-certified market square in Marrakesh old town; the hotel has a spa, two pools and a range of sports and recreational activities.
Thomas Cook UK MD Chris Mottershead said: "We know many of our customers enjoy winter sun holidays, so ensuring our holiday offering is flexible enough to meet the needs of our customers, whether they’re families or couples, is important to us.
"The balmy temperature and short flight time will attract families looking for a winter sun getaway a bit closer to home."
Seven night packages at the SENTIDO Kenzi Menara Palace start at £689 per person.
