Thomas Cook customers to get offers via Twitter
Thomas Cook is sending out its latest holiday offers via Twitter in what it claims is an ‘industry first’.
The new ‘Holidays to go!’ initiative searches offers for Twitter users, replying within seconds.
Customers send tweets like ‘Holiday deals to Florida’ mentioning @TCOffers and they will get a response with the best deal available.
Jonathan Roberts, group head of social media for Thomas Cook Group. "Our customers don’t always have time to search for holidays, so we have made it very easy for them.
"Customers can even ask for deals for up to three locations in one Tweet, and if you have a typo, that is okay."
If queries are more unusual, it automatically gets sent to the @ThomasCookCares team.
