Thomas Cook issues statement following Fontenla-Novoa´s revelations at ITT Conference

Thomas Cook has issued a statement following a Q&A session with Manny Fontenla-Novoa at the ITT Conference.

During the session, the group´s chief executive talked about the merger with MyTravel and how the integration would take place.

The following day, Thomas Cook released the following statment: “Recent media coverage from this year’s ITT conference reported Manny
Fontenla-Novoa commenting on the proposed merger.

“Whilst integration plans are progressing, specific details on location and branding strategies, for example, can only be considered once the new company officially trades, which is expected to be on the 19th June, and are subject to consultation with employees in the normal way as well as final board approval.”
