Thomas Cook liquidator seeking buyer for air traffic control stake
Thomas Cook’s liquidators are searching for a buyer for Cook’s air traffic control stake. AlixPartners started the process to offload its 1.17% shareholding in The Airline Group, which itself holds a 42% stake in National Air Traffic Services (NATS).
A sale is expected to bring in no more than about £15m. Thomas Cook collapsed in 2019 after failing to raise sufficient funding to keep the cash-strapped business afloat.
