Thomas Cook named one of UK’s leading brands
Thomas Cook has been named one of the UK’s leading brands in the 2012 Superbrands list.
The travel firm came 101st in the top 500 brands and came first in the Travel Agents and Tour Operators category for the fifth year running.
Thomson Holidays came 208th, Virgin Holidays 332nd and Kuoni 478th.
ABTA is also named in Superbrands list, ranking higher than easyJet, BMI and Travelodge.
The Superbrands list follows an independent survey of over 2,000 British consumers undertaken by The Centre for Brand Analysis.
Michael Johnson, marketing director at Thomas Cook said, "Yet again, Thomas Cook is ranked the highest Superbrand in the travel agents and tour operator’s category, testament to our heritage and our place as a trusted brand in the minds of consumers in the UK and their positive attitude towards the brand."
