Thomas Cook reshuffles retail team
Thomas Cook has confirmed that Michelle Baillie will join its UK and Ireland team as head of retail on October 3.
She will report to Kathryn Darbandi, director of retail and customer experience.
Baillie, nee McMenami, was previously a divisional sales manager for TUI UK and Ireland.
Her departure comes a few months after Mark Bather was appointed TUI’s new retail director.
As a result of her appointment, Thomas Cook has restructured its retail division.
From October, Baillie will lead the South East division, Torey Kings-Hodkin will lead the South West division and Nicki Tempest-Mitchell will lead the North division.
Darbandi said: "I am delighted that Michelle will be joining our team and am confident that her impressive track record in travel retail will be invaluable as we continue to transform our retail business."
