Thomas Cook Sport has launched packages to the NBA Europe Live 2010 basketball game at London’s O2 arena on October 4.

This UK section of the NBA four-country preseason tour will see 2009 winners the Los Angeles Lakers play the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Thomas Cook Sport is the official tour operator for the league in the UK.

It says this game is officially sold out but it has packages from £99 a person. This includes Upper Level tickets and one night’s hotel accommodation.

Thomas Cook Sport managing director Danny Talbot said: “We’re very pleased to bring the NBA to our customers and with tickets for the games in such high demand we’re one of the only places that basketball fans can secure their seat.

“It’s not just about the game in London – with supporter packages to all the NBA Europe Live tour games, fans can combine the NBA experience with a European city break to Paris, Milan, or Barcelona.”
