Thomas Cook will be the only UK tour operator selling Turkish hotelier LykiaWorld’s properties in Turkey for summer 2010.

The four star LykiaWorld Ölüdeniz, which has 19 swimming pools, and its new five star sister property LykiaWorld Antalya are already available through this summer’s brochures and will be exclusive to the operator for its new 2010 range.

Zeynep Silahtaroglu Baykal, executive board member of Lykia Group, said: “This deal demonstrates our commitment to the package holiday and UK market in Turkey and will reassure agents that their customers are travelling with a tour operator that has an unrivalled heritage in organising holidays.

“We are very much looking forward to summer 2010 now that we have taken our relationship with Thomas Cook to a new level.”

Thomas Cook tour operations director Richard Calvert said: “Our partnership with LykiaWorld further strengthens Thomas Cook’s presence in increasingly popular Turkey.

“We’re delighted to be working with LykiaWorld on an exclusive basis and are confident that these superb hotels will continue to be a popular choice and achieve excellent scores in customer satisfaction.”

Sevennights at LykiaWorld Ölüdeniz starts at £388 per person on full board plus, departing May 5, 2010.

Seven nights at LykiaWorld Antalya near Belek starts at £643 per person on an all-inclusive basis, departing May 6.
