Thomas Cook unveils top level shake-up
Thomas Cook UK chief executive Manny Fontenla-Novoa is to take a more active sales role in the company following the departure of managing director of sales Steve Finlan in a management shake-up.
“The travel market is changing rapidly and our multi-channel sales proposition is at the core of our development going forward,” said Fontenla-Novoa. “As a result I want to play a more active role in the leadership of our sales channels.”
Director of retail sales Simon Robinson will now report into Fontenla-Novoa
Elsewhere, Mike Beaumont, who rejoined Thomas Cook in April, will head Thomas Cook Direct while director of flights and ancillaries Carol Dray will become head of direct and mutlimedia business while Katherine Gershon is on maternity leave.
Marc Bennett has been promoted to director of commercial relations.
