Thomson branch displays first digital posters
Thomson has created its first travel agency digital window at a branch in Chester.
Two 42” digital posters will dominate the shop’s window in place of handwritten notices and paper posters.
Marketing manager customer experience Doug Glenwright said: “These digital posters will help to reduce the clutter of the traditional travel agent windows by displaying only two messages at any one time and changing every 10 seconds.
“From previous tests we know that getting rid of the late deal cards would cause issues, so we decided to leave these alone.
“For staff, the digital posters mean less time merchandising and more time selling; for customers it means clearer communication of our best deals.”
