Three directors leave Virgin Holidays
Three directors are to leave Virgin Holidays just two months after Mark Anderson took up the role of managing director.
Ecommerce and specialist business director Chris Roe, product and commercial director Wayne Perks and strategy director Susan Forde will leave in the autumn.
A spokesman said their decison to leave followed Anderson’s implementation of a new leadership structure, "designed to establish the foundations for future growth".
"As a result of that, Chris Roe, Wayne Perks and Susan Forde have taken the decision to leave the business in the autumn to pursue new opportunities," he said.
"There are still some vacancies to fill on the leadership board which we will be dealing with in the coming weeks.
"They will not be like for like replacements for the people departing. Mark, has identified and recognised different areas of responsibility and some of these are the ones we are now recruiting for."
Anderson was previously Virgin customer and sales director until his promotion to MD on May 16.
He replaced Amanda Wills, who left in March to pursue new commercial and charitable opportunities.
At the time of his promotion to MD, Anderson said: " My first priority will be to reach out to as many people both inside and outside of the business to ensure all of those internal and external relationships and partnerships remain firm, and to invite them in to the conversation about how we will work together to maximize the opportunities ahead."
