Three San Jose TSA officers infected with coronavirus
Three TSA screeners at San Jose Airport have tested positive for coronavirus, the airport said.
All are currently getting medical care and colleagues they have come into contact with are undergoing home quarantine.
The TSA is cooperating with the CDC, the California Department of Public Health and the Santa Clara County Public Health Department
Passenger security operations and flights are operating as normal.
It is unclear which terminal the TSA officers worked at.
"Screening checkpoints remain open and TSA is monitoring the situation as well as the health and safety of our employees and the traveling public," TSA said in a statement.
The agency will update with further information as it becomes available.
The number of covid-19 cases in the US has topped 1,000 with 32 deaths so far.
