Tiger Roars into Adelaide

Chris Ward, Managing Director of Tiger Airways Australia, said, “I am absolutely delighted that Tiger has commenced services to Adelaide today, with Tiger now operating between Melbourne and Adelaide travelers know fares will be great in 08”.

So, to celebrate Tiger has 16,500 tickets on sale today between Melbourne and:

Adelaide from $19.95 one way (for travel between18 Jan 08 to 13 March 08);

Hobart from $19.95 one way (for travel between18 Jan 08 to 13 March 08);

Newcastle from $19.95 one way (for travel between18 Jan 08 to 13 March 08);

Canberra from $19.95 one way(for travel between14 Feb 08 to 13 March 08);and

Launceston from $29.95 one way (for travel between18 Jan 08 to 13 March 08).

“I know plenty of Victorians are particularly looking forward to sampling some of the fantastic wines in SA and our fares to Adelaide will mean they have plenty of spare cash to spend on enjoying their stay.”  “South Australians have also discovered that Tiger’s low low fares mean a regular getaway to the footy is now a reality.” Chris added

Chris also highlighted the progressive attitude of the South Australian Government, adding, “It is great to see a government that understands the importance of increased aviation competition for the economy, particularly low fare flights boosting the tourism industry.”

With Adelaide the 9th destination to join the network since commencing operations on 23 November 2007, rest assured that Tiger Airways Australia hasn’t finished yet with flights to Hobart and Newcastle starting next week and Canberra and Alice Springs commencing in the coming months from Melbourne.
