Tigerair Australia adds PayPal option for online bookings

Tuesday, 24 Jun, 2016 0
Tigerair Australia has added PayPal as a payment option for online flight bookings.

It is available for both domestic and international payments, the airline said, with a service fee of A$4 and A$6 per flight, per person respectively.

Tigerair says this is less than half of the fee charged for credit card bookings.

"The introduction of PayPal as a form of payment with Tigerair is another example of how we are looking to continually improve our overall experience and ensure travel is more affordable and convenient for our passengers," said Tigerair Australia commercial director Adam Rowe.

"Tigerair Australia has a clear focus on delivering more value and choice and today’s announcement provides customers choosing to fly Tigerair with another affordable payment option."

To mark the PayPal adoption, Tigerair has rolled out ‘2for1’ sale on 18 domestic routes for bookings made until midday Friday July 24.
