Tigerair launches interest free credit option for flight bookings

Monday, 08 Sep, 2016 0
Tigerair Australia has entered into a partnership with Latitude Financial Services offering customers the option to book now and pay later.

Existing and new Latitude Financial customers can now pay for their travel over six months interest free for bookings of A$250 or more or spread the cost over a whole year when spending a minimum A$500.

To make use of interest fee payments, customers can book fights and optional extras on the Tigerair website and simply select the ‘interest free’ option on the payment page.

Customers will then be promoted to enter their Latitude credentials.

"Tigerair is the first airline in Australia to offer an Interest Free form of payment over 6 and 12 months and this is just another example of our ongoing commitment to providing our customers with more value and choice," said commercial director Adam Rowe.

The interest free facility is only applicable for Tigerair flights and add-ons such as checked bags, booked meals, hotels and in-flight entertainment via the Tigerair desktop website.

"This payment option opens up the possibility of travel to more people than ever before, allowing our customers to take a much needed break today and pay it off on a plan," Rowe added."
