Wondering where to send your best high-end customers for a unique vacation expwerience?

It seems you can’t go wrong recommending a name that isn’t usually top-of-mind.

One&Only, the chain of just eight luxury resorts in exotic locations, was named the best hotel company in the world by 79,000 respondents to CondeÌ Nast Traveler‘s annual Best Business Hotels poll.

The tiny chain, owned by Atlantis parent Kerzner International Holdings Limited, beat out Peninsula, Vivanta by Taj, Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental in the Top 5.

For actual business travel, the best U.S. hotel is the St. Regis Hotel in Atlanta; it scored an almost-perfect 99 points out of 100.

Second and third place for best hotels went to the XV Beacon in Boston and the Kimberley in New York, in a virtual tie at 97.9 and 97.7.

Other hotels in the top 10 were the Four Seasons Dallas at Las Colinas, The Peninsula in Chicago, the Houstonian Hotel, San Francisco’s Mandarin Oriental, the Trump Soho in New York, the Hotel Sorella City Centre in Houston, the Intercontinental New York in Times Square and the Ritz-Carlton Dallas.

The Peninsula Hong Kong won in Asia.
