TIPTO unveils new online agent training

Sunday, 19 Oct, 2007 0

TIPTO has revamped its online training scheme for agents.

The new version of the marketing group’s online training academy covers all 17 members of the organisation and is being launched in two parts.

The first is live at www.tipto.co.uk until March 30 followed by a spring/summer phase.

Each TIPTO operator poses 10 multiple choice training questions for independent agents to answer in each phase.

Agents must score at least 70% to achieve a ‘pass’ and receive a TIPTO training certificate.

Once they have completed all 17 modules, agents will be given a lucky number which is entered into a draw for prizes still to be announced.

TIPTO chairman Nigel Harris (OVP Travel) said: “The new format is designed to encourage even more agents to register for the TIPTO website and undertake the all-important training for our member companies.

“We already have almost 3,000 agents registered on the site, which is great but we still want to reach even more.

“The two-phase approach means we can also keep the training relevant to seasonal products.”
