Tour Down Under detours to food and wine
A new guide aimed at promoting South Australia’s regions and locations at each stage of the Santos Tour Down Under bike race has been released.
South Australian minister for tourism Gail Gago said World Detours Down Under is a fresh concept to promote the race and tourism offerings of South Australia.
“The Santos Tour Down Under takes in some of our state’s most spectacular regions, each of which has an array of things to see and do – in particular the state’s premium food and wine,” the minister said.
The World Detours Down Under highlights key food, wine and experiences from along each stage where the race travels.
The Santos Tour Down Under will be held from January 20-27 and next year celebrates its 15th anniversary.
The World Detours Down Under program is currently available online at the event website, http://www.tourdownunder.com.au/world-detours-down-under.htm
