Tour group expands Harry Potter offerings
HP Fan Trips released new activities for its expanded Harry Potter trips that it says represent the premier tour for fans.
“We’ve really tailored this year’s program by listening to past trip participants feedback,” said Jeannie Barresi, one of HP Fan Trips’ organizers.
A Colorado-based company, Beyond Boundaries Travel, operates the tours that now will include private parties at Edinburgh Castle, used for the launch of author J. K. Rowling’s sixth book in the popular series.
Highlights also include a magical banquet and special parties, as well as stays in the same rooms used by actors in the movies.
Beyond Boundaries Travel is an international tour company that started in 1991. The company works with various fandom Web sites, as well as the History Channel, the World Bank, the United Nations and other organizations.
