Tour operator gives children free holiday
Four families from Kent have been given a much-needed break in France, thanks to the support of Travelbound and the Family Holiday Association (FHA).
Travelbound, owners of the Chateau du Molay in Normandy, offered their flagship property as holiday accommodation to the FHA charity to help support underprivileged families.
The charity arranged for four families, whose children attend Delce Primary School in Rochester, to stay for three nights at the chateau on an action-packed itinerary which included exploring the historic sites of Normandy.
Travelbound managing director Vicky Knight said: We are an ethical company who believe in helping out less fortunate community members, both at home and abroad, and this is just the start of what we would like to achieve moving forward.”
Director at the FHA John McDonald added: "A break away from the stresses and strains of everyday life brings considerable benefits particularly to those families least able to afford a holiday.
" A simple break away from home has also been shown to help build stronger, happier families."
