Tour rep in intensive care after crash
A British tour rep in an Austrian skiing resort is reportedly in intensive care after she crashed while using her snowboard as a sledge. According to the online news provider Ananova, the 24-year-old works for the UK operator Inghams and was based in the resort of St Anton when the accident happened. The website reports that she had been at the famous Crazy Kangaroo après-ski bar, located just outside the resort, before the crash, and that she was thrown some 20 feet from the snowboard before crashing into a parked car. Emergency services reportedly gave the woman first aid, before she was moved to the intensive care ward at Innsbruck hospital. She is being treated for serious head injuries.
