Tourico Holidays launches travel trade push service

Leading wholesale travel broker Tourico Holidays launched a new push service for trade clients to import Tourico’s inventory.

It allows the creation of their own offline in-house product and price database.

The service immediately pushes individual updates or inventory changes allowing clients to sell last minute inventory, and in doing so, help to reducing failed bookings, the company says.

"Companies selling travel no longer have to pull data for current inventory. Our new push service allows distribution clients to integrate Tourico’s massive inventory of products and maintain up-to-date prices and availability.  The process is more efficient and will lead to more successful transactions and better profits for our clients," said Lev Koutamonov, head of API integration at Tourico.

The push updates also reflect latest currency changes, promotion discounts, and other business factors.

Location specific trade partners can also opt to receive hotels and inventory.data from specific regions only.

"Tourico is the only business-to-business travel company in the world that has developed a push service that immediately updates changes to the wholesaler’s inventory," said Koutamonov.
