Tourico Holidays posts big growth in emerging markets
Releasing its first half results for fiscal year 2015, wholesale travel broker Tourico Holidays has posted big gains in the emerging markets of Latin America and Asia Pacific.
The two financial quarters of 2015 showed a 55% year-over-year increase in revenue to Latin America including a 51% jump in confirmed room nights.
Bookings are up 23% in Asia Pacific markets, the company said.
"Tourico Holidays has continued to build on our rapid success by further investing in distribution technology and by aggressively pre-purchasing massive product blocks for our clients," said CEO Uri Argov.
"While some of our 2015 growth percentages may seem relatively modest, it’s important to understand the scale at which we’re working and the growth of our marketplace in general."
