Tourism Council urges Thailand to relax entry restrictions
Thailand’s tourism industry is still in a ‘comatose’ state, the Tourism Council of Thailand (TCT) says. Thailand has to remove remaining entry restrictions to push on with a recovery, TCT President Chamnan Srisawat said.
TCT proposes the government scraps the Thailand Pass scheme and ditch the mandatory PCR test on arrival in favour of the more convenient ATK tests. With these measures Thailand can attract about16 million foreign visitors this year.
