Tourism website hacked, replaced with X-rated content
Travellers planning trips to Australia’s Lord Howe Island recently got more than they bargained for.
The Lord Howe Island tourism website was hacked this week.
Hackers flooded the site with X-rated articles, ads and links.
It displayed articles for no strings attached dating apps and links to porn sites.
There were also links to get rich quick schemes.
Site administrators eventually regained control and deleted the content.
