Tourists warned of floods in Vietnam
Tourists are being warned of widespread flooding in central Vietnam, including in areas popular with tourists.
Nha Trang resort, famed for its four-mile-long beach, and the former Imperial City of Hue, one of Vietnam’s main cultural centres, are affected.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office said visitors to flood-hit areas, which also include Binh Dinh, Quang Ngai and Phu Yen, should monitor local media and follow the advice of the local authorities.
In November, at least 15 people died in floods in the region.
