Trade appointment at Explore
Explore has appointed a dedicated trade sales manager to strengthen its relationship with agents.
Philippa Baines joins from A2Btransfers.com where she was sales development manager.
Before that she worked for various travel agents, including Going Places and Robert Broad Travel, then as business development manager at consortium Global Travel Group.
Explore sales director Carl Burrows said: "Travel agent sales are a huge area of growth for us. We have been buoyed by the results of our increased efforts in this sphere over the past two years.
"However, we recognise that there is still work to be done to increase our profile amongst the trade and Philippa’s appointment is a key part of this strategy."
