South African tourism has appointed Andrew Sharpe as trade relations manager in the UK responsible for joint marketing agreements, agency relations and educationals.
Andrew, who was trade sales manager at Dubai tourism for two years, also worked for Sandals & Beaches and MARITIM hotels.
Bashni Muthaya, European regional director for South African Tourism, says: "We are therefore delighted to have Andrew’s added wealth of knowledge and experience within the team as we get ready to execute exciting plans for the UK in 2013."
South African Airways also recently launched a new UK team as it aims to get the airline ‘back on the map’ in the UK, see previous story.
