Trade push unveiled by Attraction World
A dedicated travel trade sales team has been created by theme park and attraction ticket company Attraction World as it aims to triple turnover in three years.
Sales and marketing director Tony Seaman, previously with Macdonald Hotels and Holiday Autos, will head the team.
Alison Jarvis joins as national sales manager, responsible for managing relationships with key travel agents as well as driving new business. Julie Warnes takes on the role of sales manager with specific responsibility for managing the operator’s relationship with Thomson shops.
The company also plans to double its product range and new product executive Timea Kovacs has been appointed with the sole aim of developing this.
Seaman said: “We have set the objective of tripling our turnover in three years and it was imperative that we put a strong team in place to drive sales and build relationships.
“We recognise the importance of supporting agents and the new team will be responsible for making sure they have everything they need to help them make sales.
“Plans going forward will include increased trade profile through PR, advertising and web campaigns, a raft of new sales tools, competitions and online and face to face sales training.
“We will be working hard to get agents to start selling attraction tickets on every booking and hope to demonstrate the additional revenue this little bit of extra work can generate. From the more obvious choices such as Florida theme park tickets to more quirky things such as Las Vegas weddings, Colorado river rafting, skiing in Dubai, whale watching in New Zealand, Spanish waterparks and much more. It is an exciting time for us and we hope agents will reap the benefits from all our planned developments.”
