Trafalgar expands into river cruising
Guided land tour operator Trafalgar has announced an expansion into river cruising.
Launching in Spring 2026, Trafalgar will debut in Europe with two river cruise journeys along the Rhine and Danube.
As part of its rollout strategy, Trafalgar has opened sales exclusively to travel partners prior to public release.
“Our strategy is simple: unlock the best of Europe’s rivers through trusted Trafalgar touchpoints,” says Melissa DaSilva, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, TTC Tour Brands.
Trafalgar’s two initial journeys are an 8-day cruise along the Danube on the 128-passenger Trafalgar Reverie and a 10-day cruise along the Rhine on the 128-passenger Trafalgar Verity.
Both journeys feature Local Specialists who offer in depth insights into each destination, and ‘Be My Guest’ local encounters.
Each itinerary also features one MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experience that supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Guests will also enjoy a variety of onboard entertainment like regional performances, in-house baking demonstrations; wellness and yoga sessions.
River cruise journeys are open for booking now for sailings beginning April 11, 2026.
Trafalgar is offering a travel agent exclusive launch offer for any Trafalgar River Cruise booked between 6 May and 30 June 2025.
It gives agents entry into a draw to win a 2026 river cruise for two, vouchers and double global tour rewards.
