Travel 2 launches short-haul luxury collection
Travel 2 has revealed its new short-haul luxury programme which is available for agents from April.
Simply Luxury is a collection of four and five star properties in key city and beach destinations included the Canary Islands, Mallorca, Ibiza, Naples, Dubrovnik and Sharm el Sheikh.
Trade only operator Travel 2 said agents will be able to make bookings from key regional airports with airlines including EasyJet, Monarch and British Airways.
The programme will be led by a five strong team, headed up by team leader, Sara Ellen.
Travel 2 said agents will be able to deal with a dedicated short-haul team member from start to finish, ensuring one point of contact for agents throughout the booking process.
Andy Freeth, managing director Travel 2 said: "We carried out extensive research to ascertain the level of interest in a luxury short-haul product solely for the trade and identified a very real gap in the market.
"It’s our first step into the short-haul market and we are confident that agents will welcome the new products."
A dedicated brochure will be landing with agents from 17 April 2014. The operator will promote it with three events as well as a dedicated training module to engage with new and existing agents.
