Travel companies honoured in youth travel awards
The winners of the British Youth Travel Awards have been unveiled.
Organised by the British Educational Travel Association (BETA), the awards acknowledge the crème- de-la-crème in student, youth and educational travel.
Commenting on judging the submissions, Fiona Jeffrey, chairman of World Travel Market and Just a Drop, said: "Judging the British Youth Travel Awards gave a fascinating insight as to how this sector of the industry is developing and changing and in particular how this sector really embraces the use of new social media.
"I found it extremely interesting and came across some very inspiring work and campaigns, standards are improving all the time which is great for the sector and youth travel."
The winners, as selected by a panel of judges for the 2010 British Youth Travel Awards, are as follows:
