Travel Counsellors appoints US general manager
Travel Counsellors has appointed Peter Rasmussen as its new general manager in the US.
The independent travel agency group said Rasmussen is “a 27-year veteran of the travel industry in both Europe and North America”.
He was most recently senior vice president, sales and marketing for Auto Europe.
At Travel Counsellors he will take on the day-to-day responsibility for leading and running its US affiliate, Travel Counsellors LLC.
He takes over from previous president Graeme Clarke, who is now developing his own tour operating programme and range of propriety products that will be available exclusively to Travel Counsellors.
