Travel Counsellors chairman David Speakman has been confirmed as a speaker at TravelMole’s Travel Industry Question Time February debate.
Hosted in partnership with software development company DataArt, the February 24 event will cover technology and its impact on the traditional travel agent.
Speakman, founder of the successful homeworking agency group, joins other speakers so far confirmed, including CarTrawler CTO Bobby Healy and GTA Travel director of FIT sales Stuart Ellis.
The free to attend TIQT is being held at the Swissotel The Howard in Temple Place, London WC2 between 16.00 and 18.30 including networking with drinks.
TravelMole managing director Graham McKenzie will chair the debate, discussing issues such as mobile distribution, the effectiveness of online booking and how travel agents can compete against emerging technologies.
