Travel Counsellors in agent recruitment drive
Travel Counsellors has opened a new-look recruitment website as it runs a roadshow to attract new homeworking agents.
The agency is also screening a special online Travel Counsellors TV show to attract new recruits.
The initiatives come as the company claimed a five per cent increase in sales over this time last year despite the current economic climate. The number of Travel Counsellors has reached almost 1,000.
The recruitment website acts a porthole for people who are interested in joining the company.
Travel Counsellors’ recruitment team will be touring the country this month to meet interested candidates and answer questions they may have about joining the company.
For those who are unable make a face to face informal chat, the company is hosting an exclusive broadcast of Travel Counsellors TV from the company’s in-house studio at its head office in Bolton on October 15.
Travel Counsellors now has agents operating in eight countries after launching in Canada three months ago with homeworkers. The company’s dynamic packaging system Phenix now accounts for 30% of bookings made by agents.
Managing director Steve Byrne said: “I would encourage travel professionals who do not feel that they are getting the rewards they deserve to come along to one of our roadshows or register to watch TCTV and find out more about how they can change their lives for the better.â€
