Travel Counsellors scores record sales hat-trick
Travel Counsellors has achieved a unique treble feat during the peaks season.
It bagged its largest ever booking, on the best ever sales day, which was in its best ever week of sales in its history.
The record-breaking triple came prior to Blue Monday, as Travel Counsellors reported sales of £7.5 million on Friday.
This marks the first time the company has exceeded the £7 million milestone in one day and the best sales day in the company’s 30-year history.
Part of this sales haul included an individual booking of over £1.2m.
TCs made a record breaking 8,814 individual bookings last week totalling £31.1m.
This sales performance tops the previous best sales day of £6.5 million, set during the peaks period on the final day of January in 2023.
In January to date, 72 TCs globally have achieved total sales of over £100,000, with 17 TCs with individual bookings of over £100,000 each.
Jim Eastwood, Global Sales Director at Travel Counsellors said: “Blue Monday certainly has seemed to create added urgency as customers and clients eagerly booked their travel plans beforehand.”
The surge in sales is further strengthened by incentive programme, the ‘TC World Cup’ – the first of its kind in five years.
