Travel Counsellors uses webcast to attract more travel agents
Travel Counsellors are hoping to attract more agency owners and are using their existing homeworkers to sell the concept.
The homeworking group saw a 25% increase in agents during 2012 despite the economic downturn and hopes to attract more through a personal webcast.
It said 100 new Travel Counsellors joined last year and their average increase in sales was 7% per agent.
Steve Byrne, managing director at Travel Counsellors, said: "We have found that we’re receiving an increasing number of enquiries from current agency owners so have chosen two Travel Counsellors who formally owned their own agencies to take part in the webcast.
"During the webcast our agents will be telling viewers what it’s like to take the leap, and will share their experiences. It’s a great opportunity for people to get an insight into the life of a Travel Counsellor."
