Travel Foundation urges companies to take the next step
The Travel Foundation has developed an online tool to help travel companies take the next step towards sustainability.
It hopes the ‘next step generator’ will help firms keep the momentum going by asking them certain questions on key areas, such as policy, training, environment and supply chain.
"Many companies are keen to be operating more sustainability, but aren’t sure how to go about it, and this is a great tool for those who’d like some direction," said Julie Middleton, industry programmes manager at the Travel Foundation.
"There is no right or wrong way to approach sustainability, and it often seems like a daunting task. The ‘next steps generator’ helps break down the key areas of sustainability into manageable chunks."
