Travel golfers win Sandals trip

The annual travel industry Northern Golf Classic took place last week at Mottram Hall, Cheshire.
The event, in its 16th year, was sponsored by TravelMole, Holiday Taxis, Uniglobe, Attraction World, Teletext and Amadeus.
The well established competition had as its main prize seven places for a Sandals-sponsored trip to Jamaica in early 2010.
The overall winner was Andy Buckner with 42 points.
Qualifiers for the trip to Jamaica were:
Div 1 (1-19)
Phil Palmer 36pts
Andy Clarke 35pts
Graham McKenzie 35pts
Div2 (20-24)
Ian Liddle 34pts
Dave Cramp 34pts
Paul Stobbs 32pts
Nearest the pin was won by Volker Lorenz and the team prize by- Amadeus 2 represented by Tony Hollis, Ajay Sodha, Mark Riddle and Ian Liddle.
