Travel group buys high street agent
Norad Travel Group has bought Wiltshire based Howard Travel to add to its Leisure Select Travel brand.
The purchase will increase its presence in the luxury and niche market which has been increasing over the past years.
Mick Gibbs, chairman and CEO, Norad Travel Group said: "Howard Travel are a great fit for the Norad Travel Group, from the people ethos, to the professional work ethic.
"We both saw with the combined total of our business knowledge, we would together forge a brand that would deliver a strong, experienced and unrivalled personal service that will ensure a better value proposition, something no algorithm on the Internet can do and something our customer base demands."
He added that all the staff had been retained and will now create a group workforce of 52 and a combined turnover of £32m.
