Travel guide publisher creates value-add for agents
Travel guide publisher Globe Media has added a new tool to its Word Travels destination guide allowing agents who sell cruise to read reviews on ports of call and build printable guides for their customers.
The site has thousands of destination guides which can be accessed by going to www.wordtravels.com/Ports-of-Call
Agents can also make sure that the printed guides that they give to customers are advert-free and have their own logo and contact details at the top of each page by signing up as a subscriber to the site, at http://pro.wordtravels.com, before printing off.
The cruise pages include an overview on the destination with a map, plus reviews on the shopping, restaurants, attractions and shore excursions. There are currently 85 ports covered, with more planned.
The publishers will also license this content for use on cruise websites.
