Travel Network Group adds more member events
The Travel Network Group is on the lookout for new ideas for workshops, seminars and forums to add to its list of events for members.
The group says it has put together it most comprehensive list of workshops, seminars and forums, including its first-ever luxury cruise seminar, which takes place later this month – but is keen to expand further.
The cruise seminar, on Thursday September 15 at the Ikon Gallery in Birmingham,
is a newly developed event which will give members an opportunity to meet with high-end cruise operators in a more private and confidential environment to discuss their business needs, as well as further develop their product knowledge.
Many of the cruise companies operating in this sector have already signed up to attend the seminar, including: Regent, Seabourn, Silversea and Uniworld.
Over 20 Engage, Energise and Evolve workshops days have been added to the group’s events activities which will take place in Bristol, Birmingham, Woking, Belfast and Leeds in the latter part of 2016 and beginning of 2017.
At these one-day events members will receive real practical training on social media, database segmentation and customer profiling, helping them use new techniques to attract new customers.
A special Business Partner Engage, Energise and Evolve workshop will take place on September 14 in Woking, with over 24 business partners already signed-up representing both the tour operating and cruise line sectors.
On Sunday November 13 the group’s annual Evolve Cruise Conference will take place in the Midlands, and feature ‘Innovation in the Six-Star Cruising Sector’ as one of its key plenary themes.
And, two large-scale business partner forums will also be hosted next March, with dates yet to be announced.
Group marketing director Si Prentice said: "We are now offering such a comprehensive annual programme of marketing workshops, seminars, conferences and webinars, but we are always on the lookout for new ideas for events where members can add to their learning and business partner relationships."
