Travel start-ups practice their pitch at Travel Massive London event
Networking group Travel Massive London has hosted its first ever Start-Up Pitch Night in Kensington, when it invited four new businesses to practice their pitch to an audience of 70 travel professionals.
The start-ups taking part were autonomous vehicle sightseeing pioneer Autoura, B2B billing and settlement platform Travel Ledger Alliance, travel reselling platform SpareFare and hotel booking engine Nightly. Travel.
The panel, which consisted of executives from Skift.com, Travel Trade Consultancy and Virgin Money named Nightly.Travel the winner on the evening.
Co-chair of the event, Travel Massive London director Matthew Gardiner said: "We’ve wanted to host a start-up pitch night for ages. Start-ups are natural engines of growth and are key to the ongoing success and evolution of any industry."
